Funny Cthulhu Necronomicon Bumper Sticker – Necronomicon Enthusiast on Board
You’ve seen the signs. “Baby on Board.” “Student Driver.” “Caution: Show Dogs.” Perfectly reasonable warnings for perfectly reasonable people living perfectly reasonable lives. This is not that. This is a bumper sticker for someone whose reading list skews considerably darker, whose library contains volumes that probably shouldn’t exist, and whose passengers — if any survive the journey — are likely fellow initiates of forbidden knowledge.
“Necronomicon Enthusiast on Board” is the Lovecraftian parody bumper sticker that has absolutely no business being this funny, and yet here we are. It takes the most mundane form of automotive communication and runs it directly through the Mythos, producing something that will get an immediate, knowing laugh from every Lovecraft fan who spots it in a parking lot and a deeply confused look from everyone else. Both outcomes are equally satisfying.
The Perfect Bumper Sticker for the Dedicated Mythos Fan
This sticker belongs on the car of the person who owns every Lovecraft collection, who can spell Yog-Sothoth correctly on the first try, who has opinions about the various translations and editions of the Necronomicon across horror fiction, and who has genuinely considered what it would mean to have one in their backseat. It’s for the tabletop RPG player who runs Call of Cthulhu campaigns and needs their vehicle to reflect their area of expertise. It’s for the horror literature reader who appreciates a well-executed parody as much as the source material it’s riffing on.
It also makes an exceptional gift — one of those rare finds that is immediately funny, immediately specific, and immediately perfect for the right person. Tuck it into a birthday card. Add it to an order alongside the Straight Outta Arkham sticker or the Se Habla R’Lyehian sticker for a complete Lovecraftian bumper situation. Hand it to your fellow Call of Cthulhu player and watch recognition cross their face in real time.
Two Sizes for Every Bumper
The sticker comes in two sizes: the standard 11″×3″ at $7.99 and the larger 15″×3.75″ at $9.99. The standard size is the classic bumper sticker format — well-proportioned for most car bumpers, trunk lids, and rear windows, and readable from a comfortable following distance. The larger size is for those who want the message to be unmissable, or who have a larger surface — an SUV tailgate, a van, a particularly ambitious filing cabinet — that calls for something with a bit more presence. The text at 15″ wide will be legible from a genuinely impressive distance, which is really the goal when you’re announcing your area of scholarly interest to the world.
Both sizes share the same sharp, crisp printing that makes the joke land clearly even at speed.
Built for the Long Haul
Like the Straight Outta Arkham sticker in the lineup, this one is built to last. Premium water-resistant white vinyl holds up against rain, humidity, and the general outdoor conditions of life on a car bumper. The UV protective laminate layer shields the print from sun exposure and fading, keeping the design readable and sharp for years. The matte finish gives it a clean, non-reflective surface that photographs well and reads clearly without glare. Eco-solvent inks keep the printing environmentally friendly.
Care is simple: wipe gently with a soft, clean, dry cloth from the center outward as needed.
